All Saints Parish in Puyallup, WA is seeking a Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation II to develop, implement, and direct a faith formation program for elementary students, including Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion.

The role collaborates with pastoral leaders, staff, and volunteers across three churches, oversees program records and budget, ensures Safe Environment compliance, and champions inclusive ministry for diverse families.

Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic with knowledge of Catholic teaching and sacraments.
• Experience in catechesis, education, or parish ministry.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities; able to manage multiple parishes.
• Ability to recruit and supervise volunteers; background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pastoral leader and staff to implement parish mission.
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive faith formation plan for elementary students.
• Direct Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion.
• Lead planning meetings for faith formation events and goals.
• Manage faith formation office and volunteers.
• Ensure Safe Environment background checks for volunteers.
• Develop and administers budget for faith formation.
• Coordinate with school religious education for Sacramental Prep.
