Welcome Parish in Howell is seeking a Director of Discipleship Ministry. This full-time exempt role reports to the Pastor and supervises the Coordinator of Religious Formation and Parish Volunteers.

The Director will lead a team of lay leaders, develop programs, manage budgets across OCIA, Faith Formation, Evangelization and Youth Ministry, and ensure compliance with safe environment standards. The position may include onsite and occasional offsite work.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a practicing Catholic faithful to the magisterium of the Catholic Church.
• Be a Spirit-filled disciple of Jesus Christ.
• Be passionate about making disciples.
• Have substantial experience in discipling others.
• Be committed to growing in holiness through daily prayer and interior conversion.
• Seek growth in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
• Be a team player who is approachable, affable and joyful.
• Have a bachelor’s degree in Catholic Theological Studies, Ministry, Religious Education or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of two years of ministry experience.
• Be comfortable giving presentations to groups.
• Pass a background check and attend local training for the protection of children and youth.
• Employee is expected to work onsite and offsite when needed. Some weekend and evening work will be required.
• Physical demands include walking, standing, sitting, stooping, and occasionally lifting boxes or bags that weigh up to 40 pounds.
