St. Joseph Parish in Howell, MI seeks a Director of Discipleship Ministry to lead and develop lay leaders across OCIA, Faith Formation, Evangelization, and Adult Formation. This full-time exempt role reports to the Pastor and supervises staff and volunteers to guide parish ministries.

The position emphasizes forming leaders, organizing programs, coordinating with the Parish Leadership Team, and implementing safe environment standards while exploring future paid roles in Youth Ministry.

Qualificações

• Substantial experience in discipling others.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Experience working in parish ministry and religious formation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop lay leaders to guide parish ministries (OCIA, Faith Formation, Evangelization, Adult Formation).
• Serve as a member of the Parish Leadership Team and supervise parish volunteers and the Coordinator of Religious Formation.
• Collaborate with staff to connect with parishioners via weekly bulletin, parish website, Mass announcements and other media.
• Develop programs, resources and tools to support ministry leaders and parish activities.
• Explore options for a paid Youth Ministry position reporting to the Director of Discipleship Ministry.
• Ensure safe environment standards are met and participate in ongoing formation and retreats.
