Job summary

Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Brookhaven, Georgia, is seeking a full-time Communications Coordinator to manage parish communications across print, digital, and social media. Working with the Pastor, parish staff, OLA School and Preschool, ministry leaders and parish organizations, this position helps ensure clear, timely, and consistent communication across the OLA campus.

The role emphasizes website management, producing the weekly bulletin and e-newsletter, coordinating content

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications or related field preferred.
Strong writing and editing skills required.
Experience with digital communications and social media.
Bilingual or intercultural ministry experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

Managing and updating the parish website.
Producing the weekly bulletin and e-newsletter.
Managing parish social media and digital communications.
Promoting parish events, ministries, and initiatives.
Coordinating communication schedules and content.
Supporting parish branding and messaging.
Working with staff and ministry leaders to gather and distribute information.
Staying current with emerging communications tools, platforms and media through continuing education.
