Cathedral of Christ the King in Lexington seeks a Communications Coordinator to craft and execute multi‑channel content that reflects the parish mission. You will work with staff to design engaging bulletin, emails, website content, and social media, ensuring brand consistency and timely messaging.

The role emphasizes photography, content creation, analytics, and collaboration with ministry leaders to connect parishioners with parish life and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva Design necessary.
• Graphic design skills with typography to aid storytelling when graphics are scarce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive plan to share the Cathedral’s vision across bulletin, email, website and social media.
• Plan, design, edit and publish the weekly bulletin and ministry journals.
• Create and manage parish communications content, including photos and digital assets.
• Develop a social media strategy, build a digital volunteer team, monitor performance.
• Coordinate with parish staff to tailor content for diverse audiences and channels.
