Job summary

Our Lady of the Fields Parish seeks a dynamic Director of Communications to lead and unify parish communications and advance the parish's mission to proclaim the Good News. The role reports to the Pastor and sits on the Senior Leadership Team.

The incumbent will develop a cohesive communications plan, strengthen branding, and expand outreach through digital presence, print publications, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
• Strong digital communications and content strategy skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate a faith-based mission and vision.
• Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Strong collaborative leadership style.
• Proficiency with social media platforms, websites, email marketing, and digital communications tools.
• Practicing Catholic preferred, with a commitment to supporting the mission of the Church.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive parish-wide communications strategy.
• Ensure all communications reflect the parish's mission, vision, and branding.
• Serve on the Senior Leadership Team.
• Oversee digital presence, including website restructuring, maintenance, and content management.
• Manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, Flocknote).
• Create newsletters, bulletins, liturgical programs, and parish guides.
• Coordinate communications with Archdiocese and community partners.
• Oversee signage and visual communications.
