Job summary

The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a part-time Janitor to maintain cleanliness in parish facilities. The role requires cleaning and sanitizing rooms and common areas, dusting, and maintaining equipment, with attendance on Thursday or occasional Fridays for approximately 6 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior custodian/janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to perform with minimal daily supervision.
• Knowledge and/or experience working with cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to safety training and protocols daily.
• Any other duties assigned by priest or parochial vicar.
