Job summary

Transformation Waco in Waco, TX is seeking a Family Support Specialist (Community Based) to lead parent education programs and serve as the clinical and administrative resource for the Family Resource Center team. The role delivers parenting classes, manages grant requirements, and maintains program data and reporting.

You will supervise staff, coordinate after-school data, schedule classes, and ensure compliance with NASW ethics.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program required.
• LMSW required, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Two or more years of experience in parent education or family services.
• Experience facilitating groups and delivering parenting curricula.
• Experience with grant reporting, outcome tracking, and program data preferred.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the parent education curriculum and fidelity for all parent educators.
• Plan, facilitate and evaluate parenting classes and support groups.
• Manage grant deliverables, timelines, and reporting for programs.
• Maintain data systems, schedules, and program reporting.
• Provide social work consultation on complex family needs and referrals.
• Support grant renewals and new applications with narratives and data.
• Coordinate after-school data and program attendance reporting.
