Job summary

Sofidel America, a leading tissue paper manufacturer, is seeking a Parent Reels Warehouse Operator to join our team in Florida. This role focuses on safe movement, storage, and shipment of materials, using forklifts and other equipment to support production and shipping operations in a fast paced environment.

You will read work orders, verify inventory, perform daily equipment inspections, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse while following all safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification required.
• Experience operating forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Basic mathematical and problem solving skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Outlook, Excel, Word; familiarity with warehouse systems preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, labels and operating instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, transport, and store parent reels using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Read work orders and follow instructions to move materials accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload products onto pallets, racks, trailers, and storage locations.
• Transport parent reels between production, warehouse, and shipping areas.
• Stack, organize, bundle, and secure materials for storage or shipment.
• Scan labels, pallets, rolls, and containers using warehouse inventory systems.
• Verify product identification and inventory accuracy during movement.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations as needed.
• Communicate equipment issues or shortages to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per safety policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are currently seeking a Parent Reels Warehouse Operator to join our team. The Parent Reels Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and shipment throughout the warehouse and production facility. This role operates powered industrial equipment to load, unload, transport, and organize finished products while ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production and shipping operations. The Parent Reels Warehouse Operator plays a key role in maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements
