Job summary

Sittercity.com in Houston, TX seeks a highly organized, self-starting helper to keep the household orderly during the workweek. Expect 2–3 hours of daily tasks, with longer periods if childcare or organization projects arise.

Responsibilities include a daily reset (dishes, beds, organizing spaces, tidying toys/schoolwork), light meal prep for kids, and possible kid pickups/drop-offs. Occasional errands may be required. We are a warm, energetic family with two busy boys and demanding jobs.

Job description

We need help keeping the household organized and clean. We have weekly cleaning, so this is not a deep clean job. Need a highly organized, self-starter person who can bring a sense of peace and calm. Anticipate 2-3 hours per day during work week except on Wednesdays when we have the cleaning service (possibly longer if there is childcare involved or if we are working on an organization project).

Responsibilities include:

1. 1) Daily house reset (do dishes, make beds, organize common areas, pick up toys and schoolwork, occasionally bigger organization projects as needed)
2. 2) Occasional meal prep - kids' lunches, maybe dicing food ahead of dinner, etc.
3. 3) If the right candidate, could also include kid pick up and dropoff from activities (mainly soccer currently)
4. 4) Potentially could include errands (dry cleaning, groceries)

We are very easy going and warm family, with two high energy boys and demanding jobs. We are fun, active, and a little overwhelmed!
