Job description

Step into a role as a Parent Educator at Bright Horizons, where you will produce and present parenting webinars and workshops for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-8 years old, and assist in creating resources (articles, scripts) related to child development and parenting support. With a strong understanding of child development and early education theory, you will develop empathy-driven, solution-oriented, research-based parenting support resources. Experience with developmental delays and special needs is preferred.

This is a remote role working from the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone.

This position is Part-Time, approximately 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, produce, and facilitate live and recorded events, including workshops and webinars for parents and caregivers.
2. Research child development topics to support content creation.
3. Write and edit parent-facing articles.
4. Collaborate with the Education & Development team and contribute to projects.
5. Facilitate in-person and virtual events; some travel may be involved.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in family studies, child development, psychology, education, or social work (Required).
2. Master’s degree in a related field (Preferred).
3. At least 3 years of experience in developing and facilitating adult learning and training (Required).

Additional Requirements:

• Public speaking skills in live, in-person, and virtual settings.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Background in early childhood education.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting hourly rate is $34/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and disability coverage.
