Job summary

Becker Public Schools in Becker, MN is seeking a Parent Educator for the Early Education program. You will plan, develop, and implement lessons for parent group discussions using the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress, and work with the Child Educator to strengthen family connections.

Schedule runs Tue–Fri, with times 8:30–11am, 3–8pm; 8:30–11am; 8:30–10:30am; 8–11am; times may change. Salary is per Schedule D of the BEA Contract.

Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota Parent & Family Education License #180401.
• Experience with parent education and family engagement is preferred.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Early Education Coordinator, the Parent Educator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing lesson plans based on the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress for parent group discussions. The Parent Educator will work cooperatively with the Child Educator to facilitate class experiences while building relationships and connections amongst families.

Tuesday: 8:30-11am, 3-8pm

Wednesday: 8:30-11am

Thursday: 8:30-10:30am

Friday: 8-11am

Times may change based on program needs.

Salary according to Schedule D of the BEA Contract (attached).
