Job summary

Transdev in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Paratransit Operator to ensure safe and courteous transportation for passengers across Baltimore and surrounding areas. You will follow designated routes with emphasis on safety, timeliness, and exceptional customer service while keeping vehicles ready and compliant with DOT rules.

Responsibilities include greeting passengers, collecting fares, assisting riders, performing vehicle inspections, and reporting issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Must have Maryland driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience
• Satisfactory driving record
• DOT drug testing and physical requirements

Responsibilities

• Safety-focused operations: transport passengers throughout Baltimore and surrounding area following routes and schedules
• Passenger care: greet passengers, collect fares, assist riders for boarding and alighting
• Vehicle vigilance: perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues, keep vehicle clean
• Adherence to protocols: enforce seat belts, follow procedures, comply with regulatory mandates
• Other duties as required
