Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Parasitology Laboratory Aide in Chicago to collect, process, and prepare fecal samples for analysis. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to follow SOPs in a fast-paced lab environment.

The position offers a night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM), weekend coverage, and a temporary contract lasting 3–6 months. Compensation includes a target pay of $18.80 per hour, with potential for learning and growth in veterinary diagnostics at Mars Science &

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Attention to detail and organized with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in the English language for data entry and meetings.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Collect fecal specimens and prepare for analysis.
• Meet department requirements for para loads and setup rates.
• Label processing tubes and manage specimen storage.
• Assist with Giardia ELISA when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and restock supplies.
