Position Overview

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Resicum International LLC is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates in anticipation of a potential contract award supporting the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), 720th Special Tactics Group (720 STG), Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS) at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Selection, hiring, and employment are contingent upon successful contract award, funding authorization, and completion of all required pre-employment requirements.

Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced Pararescue Instructor (PJ) to support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Special Tactics training operations. This position provides an exceptional opportunity for former U.S. Air Force Pararescuemen to continue serving the Special Operations community by training, mentoring, and developing the next generation of Special Tactics operators.

The Pararescue Instructor serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for delivering advanced classroom, field, and practical instruction in Air Force Special Tactics Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). The instructor prepares students to operate in austere, high-risk, and combat-relevant environments while emphasizing mission readiness, operational excellence, and safety.

Instruction supports a broad range of Special Operations capabilities including personnel recovery, airborne operations, ground operations, tactical communications, surveillance, reconnaissance, mission planning, land navigation, and integrated field training exercises.

This position requires physically demanding work in hazardous operational environments including live-fire ranges, demolition ranges, aircraft, watercraft, tactical vehicles, and remote training locations throughout the Eglin Test and Training Complex (ETTC).

Temporary Duty (TDY) travel throughout the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii may be required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Deliver classroom, practical, and field instruction in Air Force Special Tactics Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
  • Conduct hands-on training supporting personnel recovery, airborne operations, land navigation, surveillance, reconnaissance, and mission planning.
  • Mentor, coach, and evaluate students throughout demanding academic and field training events.
  • Conduct professional development sessions for enlisted personnel and officers.
  • Support training involving fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft operations.
  • Conduct and support live-fire weapons training, demolition instruction, and tactical vehicle operations.
  • Provide instruction for high-angle rappel operations and practical rescue training.
  • Participate in maritime and open-water training events as required.
  • Maintain the highest standards of operational safety, risk management, and training discipline.
  • Assist government personnel with curriculum improvements and instructional development.
  • Support ancillary training requirements and Special Tactics operational objectives.
  • Perform additional instructor duties as assigned in support of the Special Tactics Training Squadron.

Required Qualifications
  • Former U.S. Air Force Pararescue (AFSC 1Z1X1) with 7-Level qualification.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a 7-Level Pararescueman.
  • No more than a five-year break in military service.
  • Demonstrated operational Pararescue experience within the previous five years.
  • Minimum of three (3) years supporting Air Force Special Tactics operations.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding duties in austere, hazardous, and combat-relevant training environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required installation access, credentials, and government authorizations.
  • Ability to travel as required, including Temporary Duty (TDY) assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous instructor experience supporting Air Force Special Tactics or Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC).
  • Graduate of the U.S. Air Force Military Training Instructor Course or equivalent military instructor certification.
  • Experience developing lesson plans, instructor guides, and training materials.
  • Experience conducting live-fire, airborne, personnel recovery, and rescue training.
  • Previous experience mentoring Special Operations Forces personnel.
  • Experience supporting Joint, USSOCOM, or Special Operations training operations.
  • Prior overseas deployment experience.
  • Previous Department of Defense contractor instructor experience.
