Overview:

West Boylston Public Schools is seeking dedicated and compassionate paraprofessionals to support students with high needs in a variety of educational settings across the district.

Position Overview:

The paraprofessional (or instructional assistant) will work under the supervision of a licensed teacher to support student learning and classroom management. The ideal candidate will provide individualized attention to students, lead small group activities, assist with clerical tasks, and help implement accommodations for students with special needs

Key Responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction under the supervision of a teacher
• Assist students individually or in small and large groups to reinforce learning
• Implement Behavior Support Plans and apply behavior de-escalation strategies
• Provide assistance with daily routines, including feeding, toileting, and personal care
• Monitor student progress and document academic and behavioral data
• Use verbal and visual supports to enhance student engagement
• Accompany students throughout the day, ensuring consistent support and supervision

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $18 to $22 Per Hour

Qualifications:

Additional Requirements:

• CORI and SAFIS background clearance required
