• Effective organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work with students one-to-one and in small groups.
• Monitor student activities in classroom, on playground, and on bus.
• Follow teacher directions to maintain a consistent discipline program.
• Observe, monitor and record student behavior.
• Keep instructional staff informed of any special needs or problems.
• Use equipment such as computers, printers, and assistive technology.
• Participate in staff development, meetings, and events.
• Understand and apply safety precautions from the school plan.
• Implement appropriate behavioral strategies.
• Complete weekly logs and paperwork.
• Contribute to the team by taking on additional duties.
