ReNEW Schools in New York seeks a Paraprofessional Classroom (Title 1) to assist the teacher in achieving classroom objectives by working with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and skill development.
The position requires 2 years of college credits or a willingness to take and pass the ParaPro Test, 5.5 hours per day for 182 days, and duties including preparing materials, supervising activities, and supporting students and families as needed.

JOB TITLE: Paraprofessional Classroom (Title 1)
REPORTS TO: Teacher or immediate supervisor, Principal, Assistant Principal
POSITION PURPOSE: To assist the teacher to achieve teaching objectives by working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve the skill levels of the class as a whole.
