Job summary

MSAD 75 / RSU 75 is seeking a Paraprofessional for Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham, ME. The role supports teachers and students, reinforcing learning and assisting with daily activities.

The job offers a $23.68–$28.04 per hour rate and a 30-hour work week, with placement based on student needs across the district. The paraprofessional collaborates with teachers, administrators, and specialists to enhance learning environments, implement behavior support plans, and participate in ongoing staff

Qualifications

• State of Maine Educational Technician I/II/III Certification is required.
• Background Check (CHRC) authorization is required.
• BHP Certification or ability to obtain.
• Mandt trained or ability to obtain.
• Strong behavioral management skills and ability to follow behavior plans.
• Demonstrated record keeping skills.
• Proven ability to function as a team member.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Modify curriculum and instructional activities to support learning as directed.
• Assist students with academic, social, and behavioral learning.
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and during field trips.
• Provide support for individual students to participate in activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Participate in district-provided staff development.
