Delta-T Group Illinois, Inc. is seeking dedicated Instructional Aides to support students in Oak Forest and surrounding areas. The paraprofessional will assist teachers, reinforce learning concepts, and help manage classroom behavior in a dynamic K-12 setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and collaborate with school staff.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Experience supporting students with special needs is a plus.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent (associates or higher preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support under the direction of the lead teacher.
• Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and instructional activities.
• Support students with behavioral management and social development.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment.
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision (e.g., lunch, recess).
• Document student progress and communicate effectively with staff.
