Delano Public Schools is seeking patient, caring paraprofessionals to assist teachers in managing student behaviors and supporting academic work completion and functional skills.
Paraprofessionals may work in regular or special education settings under licensed teachers, with potential duties including supporting extracurricular activities or bus routes. Some assignments could occur evenings or weekends, and data collection/communication will be used daily to support student needs.

Delano Schools is looking for patient, caring, supportive persons who can assist teachers in managing/monitoring student behaviors and provide assistance with academic work completion as well as functional skills.
The paraprofessional will support students with disabilities which may include academic, social, behavioral, and functional needs. The paraprofessional may work in mainstream classrooms or special education classrooms under the direction of licensed special education teachers. Additional duties may include supporting extracurricular activities or bus routes. On rare occasions, this assignment may entail work in evenings or weekends. The paraprofessional will utilize their skills daily for the purposes of data collection and communication to support the needs of students.
