Job summary

McHenry Community Consolidated School District 15 is hiring a Special Education Assistant (Paraprofessional) at Chauncey Duker Elementary School. The role requires a current Paraprofessional License and 60 college credits or equivalent ISBE requirements, with CPI training preferred.

Position is 175 days per year, full-time, starting ASAP. Duties include promoting a safe environment and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support students with special needs.

PAY AND BENEFITS

• $17.50/hour starting plus benefits. The District can provide additional credit to candidates who have prior work experience.
