Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.
• Previous experience working in a school or with school age children – preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics.
• Understanding of and capability to navigate technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructional activities for students in need of intervention, 1:1 or in small groups.
• Support instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics as directed by teachers.
• Implement strategies to promote student growth from fall to spring testing.
• Attend professional development and articulation meetings as required.
