Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one of the listed requirements (paraprofessional assessment 450+; associate degree or higher; 48 college hours with 6 Math and 9 English).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist and implement instructional plans with teachers.
• Follow Individual Health Plans and assist with medical needs.
• Support students in inclusive, resource and self-contained classrooms.
• Maintain medical and activity logs as required by IEPs.
• Ensure safety and supervision in hallways, cafeterias, buses and classrooms.
