Qualifications

• Responsible for assisting classroom teachers with instructional and physical support for students with significant needs.

• Assist with personal care, mobility, and basic health-related tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the general classroom or special education teacher by implementing instruction and supporting learning activities.
• Monitor students in classrooms, hallways, and during transitions, ensuring safety and appropriate conduct.
• Provide hands-on support with personal care, mobility, and health-related tasks as required.
• Use augmentative communication devices and adapt materials to meet individual goals.
• Support implementation of IEP goals and behavior plans in collaboration with teachers and specialists.
