Hope is seeking a Full-Time Paraprofessional in Springfield, IL to support students in a classroom setting at the Hope Learning Academy. The role involves data tracking, assisting instruction, and helping implement IEP goals in a structured environment.

Applicants should be at least 19, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess or pursue a Paraprofessional license in Illinois. The position offers an hourly rate of $17.15–$18.80 and weekday shifts.

Qualifications

• 19 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Hold or attain a Paraprofessional licensure for Illinois.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s license.
• Successful background clearance, physical, agility test, and drug/alcohol screening.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl, and run.

Responsibilities

• Support students in a classroom setting at the Hope Learning Academy and complete appropriate data tracking and entry.
• Provide instruction and assistance that meets students’ Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals and objectives.
• Encourage student independence while following the classroom schedule and implementing educational programs.
• Foster a stimulating, accepting, and safe learning environment for all students.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
