Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to ESSA education/testing requirements as applicable.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of instructional materials.
• Support students with individual instructional plans through written, verbal and computer tools.
• Communicate with regular education teachers.
• Assist with student records/attendance and reports.
• Support substitute teachers to ensure continuity of learning.
• Escort students to library, office, and cafeteria.
• Assist students with physical limitations to bathroom.
• Deal with seizures and behavioral issues as needed.
• Operate with assistive devices and equipment.
• Complete TCIS training and other assigned duties.
