Job summary

Little City Foundation in Palatine, IL, is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional educator for the Main Campus Education Center. This full-time role runs 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a $25 per hour wage.

The position involves assisting teachers, supporting instructional activities, operating classroom technology, maintaining records, and helping with transitions and safety. Requires a Bachelor's degree and IL Paraprofessional Educator License; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and Paraprofessional Educator License issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.
• Preferred that the Bachelor's Degree be in education, human services, or disability related field and Paraprofessional Educator License.

Responsibilities

• Substitute teacher when absent or out of the classroom.
• Provide instructional support to implement educational programs and adapt materials.
• Operate computer and educational technology with students.
• Maintain anecdotal notes and education folders.
• Assist with transitions, meals, and toileting.
• Supervise students in various school settings and participate in team meetings.
