Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license if assigned to transport clients.
• CPR/First Aid certification required (willingness to obtain is acceptable).
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with developmental disabilities in program spaces.
• Help clients meet personal and academic goals.
• Assist with daily routines and hygiene care.
• Participate in therapeutic programs.
• Supervise aquatic activities and provide physical support.

What You’ll Do:

• Support children, teens, or adults with developmental disabilities in program spaces created to meet the needs of all we serve
• Help clients meet personal, academic, or life skills goals
• Assist with transitions, hygiene care, daily routines, and community outings
• Participate in behavior and therapeutic programs
• Supervise during aquatic activities and provide physical support
• Collect data and collaborate with a supportive, interdisciplinary team
• All other duties assigned

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to swim and supervise in water
• Valid driver’s license (if assigned to transport clients)
• CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and Prevention & Support (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred
