Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certified
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Restraint Trained
Assist with toileting
Support students requiring de-escalation, time outs, and/or restraints
Support student on behavior intervention plans (BIPS) through data collection and reinforcement under the supervision of classroom teacher and/or BCBA
Support Discrete Trial Training (DTT) under the supervision of classroom teacher and/or BCBA
(includes Special Education, Regular Education, and Title I)
Qualifications: Paraprofessionals shall meet the requirements of a “Highly Qualified” paraprofessional as described in Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The minimum qualifications include:
