Job summary

Spectrum360 A NJ Non Profit Corp in Livingston, NJ is hiring a Paraprofessional Aide for the Upper School. The role supports a certified teacher in daily classroom activities and addresses individual needs during a full-time schedule, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with hourly pay of $24.75–$26.75.

Responsibilities include assisting students, promoting safety and well-being, and fostering dignity in all relationships. A criminal history check and evidence of lawful status are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or college coursework in education preferred
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum
• ABA knowledge preferred but not required
• Criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status required

About this position

Full Time – Livingston

Work collaboratively under the direction of a certified teacher to assist students in general daily classroom activities, help with individual needs, and care for their physical, social/emotional health and safety, affirming their abilities and striving to promote dignity in all relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

• Possess a High School diploma and/or college-level coursework in an education program or related field preferred
• Successful experience working with children on the autism spectrum
• Knowledge of ABA preferred, not required
• All candidates are required to complete a criminal history check and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
