Job summary

Spectrum360 is seeking a Paraprofessional Aide for the Upper School in Livingston, NJ. The role supports students under the direction of a certified teacher, assisting with daily activities and individual needs while promoting dignity and safety in all interactions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or related coursework, experience with autism, and a willingness to undergo a criminal-history check. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with pay ranging from $24.25 to $26.25 hourly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or college-level coursework in education preferred.
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
• ABA knowledge preferred but not required.
• Criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal status required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in daily classroom activities under the direction of a certified teacher.

Work collaboratively under the direction of a certified teacher to assist students in general daily classroom activities, help with individual needs, and care for their physical, social/emotional health and safety, affirming their abilities and striving to promote dignity in all relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

• Possess a High School diploma and/or college-level coursework in an education program or related field preferred
• Successful experience working with children on the autism spectrum
• Knowledge of ABA preferred, not required
• All candidates are required to complete acriminal history check and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
