Job summary

Bartlett School District in Bartlett, NH seeks a Paraprofessional (60%) to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth and assist with school operations.

Under the supervision of the Principal, the paraprofessional will collaborate with special educators and teachers, supervise during lunch and recess, and help with IEPs, 504s, and behavior plans.

This is a 60% position aligned with district policies and emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Two years postsecondary study or an Associate's Degree.
• NH Paraeducator Credential or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide for the overall safety and wellbeing of students as a caring adult who supports a positive school environment.
• Support the success of individuals and student groups in the learning of academic, social, and emotional knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with special educators and classroom teachers to provide instructional supports and accommodations in academic and other school settings.
• Assist with recordkeeping, data collection, and specific tasks related to IEPs, 504s, behavior plans, as well as with tasks related to general school operations.
• Provide supervision of students during lunch, recess, teacher meetings, team planning, and other times as needed.
• Maintain professionalism, ethical behavior, and confidentiality regarding sensitive student and school information.
• Follow state regulations, district policies, and school procedures and expectations.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the principal or designated supervisor.
