Job summary

Trenton R-IX School District invites applications for a Paraprofessional in Trenton, Missouri. This role reports to the Supervising Teacher and building Principal and supports students individually or in small groups to assist certified teachers.

Starting date is immediate. The position is full-time with schedule set by the Supervisor per policy. The district requires a criminal fingerprint/background clearance and expects collaboration with staff to meet CSIP objectives and district goals.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Principal informed of appropriate issues.
• Make decisions for the best interests of the District and within Board policies and CSIP objectives.
• Promote positive relations between the building, district, School board and community.
• Work to achieve district goals adopted by the Board.
• Execute all policies, rules and regulations adopted by the Board.
• Attend required meetings.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.
