Job summary

Constantine Public Schools is seeking a dedicated support staff member to provide supplemental aids and services as directed by the lead teacher. This full-time, hourly position supports general education classrooms and promotes student inclusion.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with staff and students, work as part of a team, and assist in collecting and maintaining student data while adhering to district policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and students.
• Experience working with students in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions from lead teachers and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental aids and services as directed by the lead teacher.
• Support students in general education classrooms to promote success and inclusion.
• Administer academic assessments as defined by lead teachers.
• Monitor and supervise students in separate testing or small group settings.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining student data.
• Promote and maintain a positive and safe student learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with staff and administration regarding student needs and progress.
• Perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by administration.
