Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support students with diverse learning needs. You will work with an assigned teacher, assist with lesson plans and materials, and help grade homework and write progress reports.

The role requires caring, compassion, and commitment to each student’s success, with opportunities for professional development and a referral program.

Qualifications

• Experience as a paraprofessional, ideally in a school-based setting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
• Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto liability insurance.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students with diverse learning needs, including learning, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities. This person will work closely with an assigned teacher and provide support by working with students individually and in groups, assisting with lesson plans and materials, grading homework, and writing progress reports. In order to thrive in this role, the paraprofessional must be caring, compassionate, and committed to each student’s success.
