Job summary

Alexandria Township School District is seeking a caring Paraprofessional to join our school community. You will work with teachers and staff to support students academically, socially and behaviorally, fostering a positive learning environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, NJ requirements including criminal history clearance, and experience with children. Salary range is $33,793–$49,606 with single health insurance coverage provided by the Board.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ParaPro Assessment preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must meet all New Jersey requirements for school employment, including criminal history clearance.

Responsibilities

• Providing instructional and classroom support under the direction of a classroom teacher

• Assisting students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Supporting students through the school day, including during transitions, lunch, recess and other activities as needed

Alexandria Township School District is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Paraprofessional to join our school community. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to support students academically, socially, and behaviorally and help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing instructional and classroom support under the direction of a classroom teacher
• Working with individual students and small groups

• Benefits: Single health insurance coverage provided by the Board, with the option to buy up to dependent or family coverage at the employee's expense
