LADACIN Network is seeking compassionate Paraprofessionals for the Schroth School in Ocean Township, New Jersey. This full-time, 12-month role supports students with developmental and multiple physical disabilities in a structured school setting.

You will assist with classroom participation, personal care, mobility, and educational activities, working with a transdisciplinary team to help students reach their goals while following safety and confidentiality guidelines.

Full-Time, 12-Month Position | Special Education School Program

LADACIN (Lifetime Assistance for Developmental and Challenging Individual Needs) has been serving individuals with developmental and physical disabilities for more than 75 years. Position Summary

The Schroth School is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Paraprofessionals to work with students with developmental and multiple physical disabilities in a school setting. This is a full-time, 12-month position, Monday through Friday.

Paraprofessionals work closely with our transdisciplinary team of teachers, therapists, nurses, and support staff to help students achieve their educational, behavioral, social, and daily living goals. Responsibilities include assisting students with classroom participation, personal care, mobility, communication, and educational activities in a supportive and structured environment.

This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing as needed to support student care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist students with educational activities and classroom participation

• Assist students with personal care and daily living skills as needed
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, nurses, and other school staff
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment

• Follow all LADACIN policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
• Cooperate fully with all licensing, accrediting, and funding source requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Location

This position is based at the Schroth School in Ocean Township, New Jersey.

Pay Range: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
