LADACIN Network is seeking compassionate Paraprofessionals to support students with developmental and multiple physical disabilities at the Schroth School in Ocean Township, New Jersey. This full-time, 12-month position runs Monday through Friday in a structured school setting.

You will assist with classroom participation, personal care, mobility, and daily living skills, working with a transdisciplinary team to help students achieve educational and behavioral goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a transdisciplinary environment.
• Ability to perform physical job responsibilities as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with educational activities and classroom participation.
• Support implementation of individualized educational and behavioral goals.
• Assist students with personal care and daily living skills as needed.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, nurses, and other school staff.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and physical support of students.
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
• Follow all LADACIN policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Cooperate fully with licensing, accrediting, and funding source requirements.

Position Summary

The Schroth School is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Paraprofessionals to work with students with developmental and multiple physical disabilities in a school setting. This is a full-time, 12-month position, Monday through Friday.

Paraprofessionals work closely with our transdisciplinary team of teachers, therapists, nurses, and support staff to help students achieve their educational, behavioral, social, and daily living goals. Responsibilities include assisting students with classroom participation, personal care, mobility, communication, and educational activities in a supportive and structured environment.

This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing as needed to support student care and safety.
