Position Summary

Paraprofessionals at Gem Prep play a vital role in supporting student success. This position includes tutoring students in math and language arts, guiding small-group instruction, and managing elective courses under the supervision of certified teachers. This is an opportunity to directly impact students' learning while gaining valuable professional experience in a rewarding, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one or small group academic support in alignment with certified teacher instruction.
  • Assist certified staff in creating strategies that meet individual students’ needs, interests, and abilities.
  • Support students in using online software programs, monitor progress, and proctor tests or makeup work as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with certified teachers about student progress and needs.
  • Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance student learning.
Qualification s
