Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking a Paraprofessional to join our team near Mays Landing, New Jersey for a school-based role.

As a paraprofessional, you will support classroom teachers, assist students with learning activities, and help maintain a positive learning environment during the school day from 8:25am to 3:30pm, with pay ranging from $20 to $25 per hour. Qualifications include an Associate’s degree or 60 college credits or passing the Praxis Pro exam.

• Assist Classroom Teachers: Provide support to teachers by helping with instructional activities, managing classroom materials, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all students
• Support Students' Learning Needs: Work closely with individual or small groups of students to reinforce lessons, assist with assignments, and provide accommodations for those with special educational needs
• Promote Positive Behavior: Help monitor and guide student behavior in the classroom and during school activities, ensuring adherence to school policies and promoting a safe, respectful learning atmosphere
