Jump Ahead Pediatrics in Mays Landing, NJ is seeking a Paraprofessional to join our school-based team and support student learning.

Pay is $20-$25/hour with hours 8:25am-3:30pm and exclusive school placement (no travel). Responsibilities include assisting teachers, supporting students with diverse needs, and promoting a positive, safe classroom environment. Requirements: Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits or passed Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist Classroom Teachers: Provide support to teachers by helping with instructional activities, managing classroom materials, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
• Support Students' Learning Needs: Work closely with individual or small groups of students to reinforce lessons, assist with assignments, and provide accommodations for those with special educational needs.
• Promote Positive Behavior: Help monitor and guide student behavior in the classroom and during school activities, ensuring adherence to school policies and promoting a safe, respectful learning atmosphere.
