Qualifications:

1. Education level –Individuals with one of the following qualifications are eligible to be an instructional paraprofessional:

• 60 college credit hours,
• Associate's degree or higher,
• Missouri ParaPro Assessment passing score (before September 23, 2013),
• Missouri Paraprofessional Assessment passing score (after September 23, 2013), or
• Completed Missouri's 20-hour online substitute training program.

1. Other requirements – Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education.
2. Ability to complete tasks in a discrete and confidential manner.

All Marshall Public School District applicants must adhere to a background check with the Missouri State highway patrol to be eligible for employment.
