Job summary

Indy West Christian School is seeking a dedicated, mature individual to join our team as a Full-Time Paraprofessional. This role provides classroom support, student supervision, and assistance to teachers in a Christ-centered environment.

The ideal candidate will have a heart for serving children, uphold confidentiality, and participate in professional development while supporting lunch, recess, and supervision throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Experience with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning support.
• Supervise and positively interact with students throughout the school day.
• Monitor students while teachers work with individuals or small groups.
• Support lunch, recess, and other supervisory duties.
• Provide coverage for before-school or after-school care programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in professional development.
• Uphold confidentiality and follow the Matthew 18 Principle in relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
