Indy West Christian School is seeking a caring, dependable, and mature Christian individual to serve as Assistant Coach - Cheer. This role supports the Head Coach in supervising and teaching student-athletes, while instilling positive Christian character traits.

The position involves assisting in supervising coaches and volunteers, overseeing athletes, coordinating practice schedules, maintaining facilities, attending department meetings, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Coaching experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate, manage, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent relational skills with students and adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising coaches and volunteers within the sport.
• Help oversee athletes, including locker room supervision and drop-off/pick-up coordination.
• Support practice scheduling and communicate conflicts with the athletic department.
• Help maintain athletic facilities and equipment (fields, gym, locker rooms, etc.).
