Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals for the Greater Burnsville, MN area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, 32.5-hour week position with a pay rate of $22-$24 per hour and W-2 employment with liability insurance.

Candidates should have an Associates Degree or 60 credits (or ParaPro credential) and be willing to pass a background check and drug screen. Previous school-based experience is preferred.

What We’re Looking For

• Associates Degree or equivalent, or 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits OR
• Paraprofessional Credential through Minnesota Department of Education (such as passing score on ParaPro or ParaEducator Assessments or credentialed on the PELSB rubric)
• Background check and drug screening required
• Previous experience working in the school setting preferred
