Overview

The paraplanner/associate advisor role will work directly with the founder to support day-to-day client planning, case preparation, application processing, retirement income planning, and ongoing client relationship management. This individual will play a critical role in streamlining operations while allowing the founder to spend more time meeting with clients and continuing to grow the practice.

Position: Paraplanner/Associate Advisor

Location: Richland, WA

The paraplanner/associate advisor role will work directly with the founder to support day-to-day client planning, case preparation, application processing, retirement income planning, and ongoing client relationship management. This is not intended to be a pure back-office role. The ideal candidate will eventually become client-facing, participate in client meetings and reviews, help manage investment and retirement planning relationships, and potentially grow into a larger advisory role over time. The firm is seeking someone personable, driven, organized, and highly trustworthy. Cultural fit and genuine care for clients are considered just as important as technical experience.

What you’ll do

• Prepare retirement income illustrations, annuity proposals, and planning presentations
• Assist with holistic retirement planning conversations, including income planning, tax planning, Roth conversion analysis, healthcare planning, and legacy planning
• Coordinate planning resources through Advisor Excel and related planning partners
• Assist with fixed and fixed indexed annuity case design and implementation
• Participate in all client meetings and annual reviews
• Build strong relationships with multi-generational clients
• Process applications and service paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate transfers, rollovers, and in-service rollover paperwork
• Maintain CRM workflows and documentation within Salesforce/Advisor Engine
• Assist with educational workshops and client appreciation events
• Support the firm's Legacy Learning Center educational programs

What We’re Looking For

• Series 65 License
• Life and health Insurance
• Experience within financial services, insurance, wealth management, banking or retirement planning
• Experience working with retirement planning ot annuity products preferred
• High attention to detail and follow-through
• Professional and relationship-oriented demeanor

Pay & Perks

• $22-$26/hr + discretionary bonus throughout the year
