Qualifications

• Four Selective Placement Factors (SPF) identified for the position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and NREMT certifications must be submitted with application.
• Education/experience options: one year of specialized experience or relevant graduate education or a combination thereof.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and perform basic and advanced life support.
• Triage patients and take/record vital signs.
• Conduct patient assessments and determine transport needs.
• Operate emergency vehicles and equipment and follow dispatch instructions.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and restock supplies after runs.
• Work schedule includes 12‑hour shifts, rotating shifts, holidays, with possible recall.
