Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Paramedic to deliver high-quality emergency care across Wellsboro, Williamsport, and UPMC Cole / Coudersport locations. Expect rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with full-time and casual opportunities. Eligible for a $7,000 sign-on bonus for qualified full-time paramedics.

You will provide life support, coordinate with Medical Command and care teams, and participate in community education while ensuring readiness through equipment upkeep.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced life support in pre-hospital and emergency settings.
• Communicate effectively with Medical Command and interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform emergency assessments, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Support the education and development of student paramedics.

• Ensure readiness through maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
• Accurately document patient care while maintaining confidentiality.
• Promote safety, wellness, and professionalism for patients and colleagues.
