Job summary

HealthCARE Express is seeking a dependable PRN Float Paramedic to provide clinical coverage across Texarkana and surrounding urgent care clinics. This role allows you to float between locations, offering variety and ongoing opportunity to use your clinical skills in an urgent care setting.

You will travel between Texarkana, Wake Village, Atlanta, and surrounding areas, with shifts typically 12 hours and PRN/as needed. Strong patient care, teamwork, and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic certification or licensure for the assigned clinic locations.
• EMS, emergency medicine, urgent care or related clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with different teams.
• Dependability and flexibility with a commitment to patient care.
• Willingness to travel between all assigned clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection and routine lab testing.
• Administer medications and IV therapy within scope of practice.
• Assist with wound care and minor procedures.
• Support patient flow and document accurately across multiple clinics.
• Travel between Texarkana, Wake Village, Atlanta, and surrounding areas as needed.

HealthCARE Express is looking for a dependable, flexible PRN Float Paramedic to provide clinical coverage across our Texarkana and surrounding area urgent care clinics.

Unlike a position assigned to one clinic, this role offers the opportunity to work with different teams and provide support wherever it's needed. You'll float between our Arkansas Blvd., Richmond Rd., Wake Village, and Atlanta locations based on staffing and clinic coverage needs.

This is a great opportunity for a Paramedic who enjoys variety, adapts well to different environments, and wants to continue using their clinical skills in an urgent care setting.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $25.00 per hour

• Schedule: PRN / As Needed

• Primarily 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM–8:00 PM)

• Saturday coverage may be needed (8:00 AM–4:00 PM)

• Hours and assigned locations will vary based on clinic needs.

• Must be willing to travel between all four locations.

What You'll Do

As a Float Paramedic, you'll work alongside our Providers and clinical teams to deliver efficient, compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, performing EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection, and routine lab testing, administering medications and IV therapy within your scope of practice, and assisting with wound care and minor procedures.

You'll also help maintain patient flow, complete accurate documentation, and support daily clinic operations to ensure patients receive quality care at every location.
